Art Deco "skyscraper" Floor Lamp

For sale is this very cool Art Deco floor lamp, dating from the late 1920s to the 1930s. Its most defining feature is the iconic "skyscraper" or stepped ziggurat base, a hallmark of the era that mimicked the bold, setback architecture of the period's new skylines.The lamp features a warm, aged brass central column that contrasts beautifully with the heavy, tiered silver-toned base and collar. It is a tall, commanding piece that perfectly bridges the gap between industrial machine-age cool and classic Art Deco style. It's been rewired and pat tested by a professional electrician ready for its new home.
