Pair of 1960s Mid-Century Brutalist Solid Oak Dining Chairs

For sale is this very cool pair of mid-century Brutalist chairs made from solid European oak. These are the highly sought-after shorter-back variants, meaning they are standard dining height but feature a compact profiled back. They're a classic post-war rustic design, featuring a distinctive wave-carved backrest and pegged timber construction that highlights the rich, natural "tiger" grain oak.

Both chairs are in very good vintage condition. They are solid, heavy, and structurally sturdy with no loose joints or wobbles. The wood has a beautiful deep patina with only light, authentic signs of age as you would expect from genuine mid-century pieces. They work perfectly as an accent pair, hall chairs, or a unique addition to any dining or kitchen table.
