For sale, a rare authentic pair of "Jano" chairs designed by Kazuhide Takahama for Simon Gavina of San Lazzaro, Bologna. These 1970s Italian icons feature the striking chrome-plated tubular "sled" base that epitomizes the sleek, minimalist fusion of Japanese and Italian modernism. Both chairs are in fair vintage condition and retain their original fabric. One of them has the original manufacturer’s label, ensuring their provenance for serious collectors. With a low-profile silhouette and high-quality industrial craftsmanship, these chairs serve as both functional seating and investment pieces for any high-end mid-century modern interior. The fabric has some worn patches, a few scuffs and creases etc. For me the condition is perfect, totally original, showing there age but are 100% usable, keeping the price down and no need to be precious with them.
Dimensions are Width 53 Depth 48 Height 75 seat height 47 all centimeters.

All of my items are genuine vintage or antique. Items of this age come with obvious age related knocks, bumps and scratches etc. In my opinion this only adds to their originality and style. If you are looking for pristine furniture or decor I doubt my items will be for you.
