Set of 6 Italian Mid-Century Modern Ladder-Back Chairs with Rush Seats

This set of six vintage Italian ladder-back dining chairs brings a classic mid-century modern look to any home. Dating back to the 1950s - 1960s "Superleggera" design, these chairs feature beautiful natural rush seats and a tall, stylish silhouette. The wooden frames were painted black at a later date; the finish is now a worn in places and a little scruffy, but it gives them a great rustic, industrial feel that really adds to their character. The rush seats are in fair condition again totally usable but do have age related wear. I've been using these in my own home where they have been used daily and I will honestly be sad to see them go. 

​While they aren’t in perfect or pristine condition, they are sturdy en8 with no loose joints, and ready to use at a dining table. Because of the aged paintwork, general wear and being used by myself I have priced the set realistically. These are perfect for someone looking for authentic Mid Century Style and Italian Design at an accessible price. Sets like this can literally go for £1000+

All of my items are genuine vintage or antique. Items of this age come with obvious age related knocks, bumps and scratches etc. In my opinion this only adds to their originality and style. If you are looking for pristine furniture or decor I doubt my items will be for you.
