Vintage Studio Nude Painting "Glance"

For sale is this original vintage life study painting of a kneeling female nude wrapped in a bold yellow drape. Rendered on toned paper with loose, expressive brushwork and subtle touches of terracotta and white, it’s a simple, striking piece that carries a lot of warmth. It brings instant character to a space and works brilliantly whether hung on its own or styled as part of an eclectic gallery wall.

The painting is housed in its original red-painted timber frame, which has a fantastic distressed patina with authentic chipping and wear around the edges. I’ve had a clean neutral mount added professionally to show off the artwork properly and keep it well-protected, while preserving the original paper, glass, and frame just as they were found. It’s a great piece of original vintage wall art for anyone looking to add a bit of period charm and color to their home decor.

All of my items are genuine vintage or antique. Items of this age come with obvious age related knocks, bumps and scratches etc. In my opinion this only adds to their originality and style. If you are looking for pristine furniture or decor I doubt my items will be for you.
