Victorian Ebonized Tabletop Cabinet with Drawers & Gilt Detail c.1890

For sale is this Late Victorian painted tabletop cabinet, c.1890. It features a classical pediment top and twin doors decorated with original gilt scrollwork. Inside, it has an open upper compartment over four small drawers with brass ring pulls, and comes in really beautiful aged condition. 

​The back retains two historic paper labels: one for the Peppercorn Bros. Furniture Depository in Deptford, South London, and a WWII-era paper economy label.

​It comes in sturdy, practical condition with honest surface wear to the dark finish as expected with age.

It would look fantastic on a kitchen worktop for storing say Tea, Coffee and Sugar or perhaps on a sideboard displaying a collection. 

Dimensions are Width 51 Depth 30 Height 49 all centimeters.

All of my items are genuine vintage or antique. Items of this age come with obvious age related knocks, bumps and scratches etc. In my opinion this only adds to their originality and style. If you are looking for pristine furniture or decor I doubt my items will be for you.
