Vintage Faux Bamboo Leather Safari Chair

For sale is this very stylish mid-century folding chair in a classic campaign style, a piece widely attributed to the design house Maison Jansen. The dark wooden frame is turned to look like bamboo and provides a sturdy base. Thick, tan leather makes up the seat, backrest, and arm straps, finished with visible edge stitching. Solid brass caps on the top posts and brass hardware at the joints complete the build.

The chair is in solid vintage condition and folds up easily for storage or transport. The leather shows normal wear and a natural patina from age, but there is no major damage to the material. The wooden frame is well-preserved and structurally sound. It is a practical, well-built piece of furniture that is ready for everyday use.

Dimensions are Width 58 Depth 60 Height 88 seat height 48 all centimeters.

All of my items are genuine vintage or antique. Items of this age come with obvious age related knocks, bumps and scratches etc. In my opinion this only adds to their originality and style. If you are looking for pristine furniture or decor I doubt my items will be for you.
