Vintage Oil Painting "Anchored in the Calm"

For sale is this charming vintage oil painting featuring an atmospheric coastal harbour scene. Painted in a soft impressionistic style, the composition depicts sailing boats anchored in calm waters before a grand waterfront promenade with green-domed buildings, with figures strolling along the quay and classical villas rising up the tree-lined hillside behind.

The artwork is presented in a heavy, dark timber frame with a wide, deep-bevel profile and rich natural wood grain. Unsigned and unlabelled, it remains in good, honest vintage condition with light, period-appropriate wear, complete with hanging wire attached across the reverse, ready to hang and add a classic coastal feel to your wall.

All of my items are genuine vintage or antique. Items of this age come with obvious age related knocks, bumps and scratches etc. In my opinion this only adds to their originality and style. If you are looking for pristine furniture or decor I doubt my items will be for you.
